Citizen generated evidence for a more sustainable and healthy food system

When communities generate evidence themselves, they are more effective in lobbying and advocating for their priorities. So they depend less on others to set their agenda. We document and analyze local food systems through participatory processes. This helps us identify opportunities for food system reform in local and national government policies. We can then share the evidence with key stakeholders, the media and policymakers to influence food policy debates.
